After suffering a crushing defeat and losing your left arm at the hands of Genichiro Ashina, you awaken rescued by a mysterious sculptor and equipped with a versatile Shinobi Prosthetic.
Unlike traditional RPGs, Sekiro focuses on blistering, rhythmically precise swordplay governed by the Posture system. Instead of merely whittling down enemy health pools, you must trade lethal blows and execute frame-tight deflects to break enemy balance and open them up for devastating Deathblows. Grapple across rooftops, stalk foes from the shadows, utilize specialized prosthetic tools—from firecrackers and loaded shurikens to heavy iron axes—and harness the gift of Resurrection to turn the tide of defeat into victory.
